Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. (GPRS) was called for a commercial utility locate on a public school property near Portland, Oregon. There was a need to find any existing utilities which may interfere with post holes being dug for a new fence. On this project our ground penetrating radar (GPR) 400 MHz antenna was used to accurately see depths as much as 6 feet below the surface. GPRS also used our Radio Detection equipment as a secondary verification of the accuracy for our GPR findings. We were able to locate a critical power line running across the proposed fence line at 5 feet below the surface.
